In this video, I briefly talk about Little Snitch - an outgoing firewall for OS X - and its options.
I found this out because Little Snitch was blocking it and I couldn't work out why the iTunes remote stuff wasn't working because I accidentally closed the dialog:) Once I allowed it my phone could then see iTunes on my laptop as well as discover the iTunes Home Sharing.

I've noticed a number of updates failing to complete due to a failure in mounting the downloaded disk image.
Little snitch suggests an hdiutil command failure when it tried but I have had failures with various Google updates and VLC as well.
Any thoughts?
